01 / Never raced
Turn up and drive
Arrive & Drive. Bring your suit, boots and helmet; we supply the kart, the engine and a mechanic who knows what to do with both. Nothing else to buy, nothing else to arrange.
Arrive & Drive 02 / Got a kartRace under our awning
Awning space, kart prep, spares on the shelf and experienced eyes on your driving between sessions. Come for a round or come for the season.
Race weekend support 03 / Need work doingSend us the engine
Rebuilds, carburettor work, dyno testing and winter storage. Whether or not you race with us, the workshop is open to you.
Workshop & enginesClasses we run
Six classes, three engine families
Junior TKM and TKM Extreme, IAME X30 Junior and Senior, Rotax Junior Max and Senior Max. We carry the spares and we know the tyres. Any other class: ask, and you will get a straight answer.

Who runs it
David and Ashley Klaassen
David is the third generation born and bred into the karting world. He started Klaassen Motorsport in 1998, and the team is still run by husband and wife.
A long list of success stories later, the point has not changed: share what we know, and get you further up the sheet than you managed last time out.

Who we work with
Chassis, parts and governing body
Motorsport UK
David and Ashley closely follow the recommendations and guidance of Motorsport UK, especially on safeguarding, with all training completed through Motorsport UK.
ARC Chassis
David’s own chassis design, built in Italy from 30 mm tubing to TKM specification, and a strong performer in IAME X30 and Rotax Max too. You are never required to run one.
Righetti Ridolfi
Our team partner and kart parts supplier in Italy, which is how spare components reach our team members quickly and at a fair price.
