🟡⚫️🏁HKRC CHAMPIONSHIP RD 4 🏁⚫️🟡 ⏱️ Timed practice ⏱️ TKM - With only 8 tenths covering the whole grid qualifying was extremely close. Thomas Shaw was our highest qualifier managing to put it 5th on the grid. With Yehan, Harrison and Harry all putting it in the mid field. 🟠⚫️🏁 TVKC - Club Championship RD 1 🏁⚫️🟠 This weekend was all about Joe Cheek ! We did a little one on one to help to prepare Joe for his new adventure this year in his new class. When changing to a new class it’s not always as people may think and it can take some adjusting. After a tough day on Saturday and qualifying 23rd out of 36 on the grid we knew we had to push hard and it wasn’t going to be easy but we also knew it could be worse. Race day came around and we gave it our all ! 🟠 Heat 1 - After an issue at the start of the race we dropped right back to 36th but after fighting hard we made our way back up to 23rd 🟠 Heat 2 - DNS - Stata failed meaning we didn’t even get to make the start. 🟠 Final - Started 31st on the grid and by lap 2 we were up to 18th ! Throughout the whole race Joe showed sheer determination. This was by far the best he had performed all weekend ! Unfortunately due to no fault of our own we ended up with a nose cone penalty dropping us back to 29th . 🏁 WHILTON MILL ROUND 1 🏁 The team took to Whilton mill this weekend but not as we knew it ! After a layout change we were excited to visit. The team were joined by Joe Cheek and Yehan Kallychurn in Senior X30 and Ellis snow in Junior rotax. The weather was hit and miss. We had sunshine rain and hail which didn’t make it easy to try and learn the new track. As always the team did a fantastic job and was soon on pace with a lot of the grid. Racing wouldn’t be racing if there wasn’t the odd crash and a couple of mechanical failures thrown into the mix but there were improvements made by everyone and some brilliant pace shown. #karting #seniorx30 #iame #x30 #rotax #junior #gokart #racing #whiltonmill #wmkc #msuk #klaassenmotorsport #arcshadow

🟡⚫️🟡HKRC CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 3 🟡⚫️🟡 A busy weekend for us in klaassen motorsport with 8 TKM extreme and 1 KZ2. This weekend we were pleased to welcome a new team member Thomas shaw. Saturday saw a day full of sunshine and slicks and Sunday saw a day full of water, wellies and wets. A lot was learnt across all our drivers and some amazing improvements were made. As always we gave it 110% and hard work pays off but for some bad luck struck and meant we were not quite able to show our full capabilities. Well done to Sam Johns in the KZ2 class on your brilliant performance in your first race in the class.
